Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

*Hawaii Volcano National Park holds two of the most active volcanoes on Earth.

*Kilauea-Has erupted 34 times since 1952 including the ongoing eruption since 1983.

*Holds Halemaumau-a crevice in the summit containing vast amounts of lava

*Muana Loe-Less active but has a much wider base do to its more fluid lava.

*Mokuaweoweo-Muana Loe's large summit, spanning
3 miles at some points.

*It is the only park with a volcano and rain forest.

*Points of interest-Halemaumau crater, Thurston lava tube, Devastation trail and Chain of craters road, a road nearly covered in lava flow.

*Also has hiking trails, campgrounds, and lush rain forests.
